Ice Age Theory

Do you believe Yahweh did His work of creation in six days?  

 

Our Father began His work about 6,000 years ago. Lucifer convinced 200 angels to leave heaven and live on this earth (perverting Yah's Creation) and all the resulting evil angered Yahweh. He brought The Flood about 4,000 years ago to cleanse the earth.

This planet earth was void and without form before our Creator began working with it. We do not know how long it existed as 'void and without form' but we do know about 6,000 years ago is when Yahweh spoke creation into existence. No life as we know it existed on this planet 'millions of years ago'. Nothing He created 'evolved' into something else.  Neither is there an indication of an Ice Age following the The Flood recorded in Scriptures.

It has been taught that an Ice Age carved out the lakes and moved boulders from here to there.  This idea totally ignores Scriptures wherein it is written there was a world wide flood.  Water is heavy, about eight pounds per gallon, so a world wide flood would result in the crust of the earth being compressed forming depressions which became lakes when the flood waters receded. The force of water moved rocks, boulders and other surface materials from one place to another.  The sinking of land and the rising of mountains changed the appearance of earth from its former self.  It is thought that a flood of this magnitude would set up conditions for an ice age, and it is guesstimated it lasted 700 years.  But, once again, if we read Scriptures and believe our Creator, we learn of no ice age, no dark winter. 

Psalm 104:6 ~ You made the deep cover it as a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. The waters fled at your blast, rushed away at the sound of Your thunder, mountains rising, valleys sinking, to the place You established for them.  You set bounds they must not pass so that they never again cover the earth.

After the ark landed in the mountains of Ararat there is no follow-up report recorded in Scriptures of an ice age occurring as Noah's family branched out.

Genesis 10:32 - These are the groupings of Noah's descendants, according to their origins, by their nations; and from these nations branched out over the earth after the flood.

As it was in the days of Noah so shall it be before the return of Messiah Yahshua. Mostly it is the anger = Wrath of God = that many humans incite by not searching out the truth. They entertain ideas outside of Scriptures causing them to Doubt the Word of Yahweh, just as Satan caused Eve to Doubt the Word of Yahweh and look where that got her.

Dinosaurs and Cavemen

Dinosaurs were wiped out along with most of life on this planet about 4,000 years ago when Yahweh brought about the Flood. But, according to the folks who run the Museum of Natural History:

Dinosaurs are a group of reptiles that first appeared about 245 million years ago. They dominated the planet until an extinction event wiped out a large swath of life on Earth about 66 million years ago. But now we know that the Age of Dinosaurs never ended. Instead, a group of dinosaurs gave rise to a new, small airborne form: birds.

And what was this alleged extinction event?  Many say it was when a comet or asteroid crashed into the earth.  The Museum of Natural History states:

"The extinction that occurred 65 million years ago wiped out some 50 percent of plants and animals."  

They seem to think there were 5 major events, the first one occurring 440 Million Years Ago.  I think you must believe in the evolution theory, setting God aside, to justify all this happened millions of years ago.  To actually believe that we evolved from monkeys is darn right blasphemous, aka:

• impious: lacking in reverence or proper respect
• irreverent: having or showing a lack of respect for someone or something that is usually treated with respect
• profane: to treat something sacred with abuse, irreverence, or contempt

I can hear you saying, 'What about the fossil record?' And I reply: 

What about the Word of God?  

Satan's sharpest tool is Doubt which he successfully used against Eve and has continued to use throughout the years.  If you believe this evolution theory then you do not believe Yah our Creator or trust what He says is true.  Satan lured you to his side of the fence by causing you to doubt the Word of our Creator.

Darwin famously said .... there would be fossils of transitional forms (missing links) which would provide irrefutable evidence of such gradual progressive change. However, as many even renown Evolutionists have had to admit, such transitional forms have not been found, despite the many claims to the contrary, which have been and are constantly being touted as “missing links”. In the not too distant past we had the Neanderthal Man, the Peking Man, the Cro-Magnon Man, the Piltdown Man, the Nebraska Man, all of which have been shown to be fraudulent claims, as admitted by no less than the famous Paleontologists Evolutionist Dr. Donald Johansson in his book Lucy. He claimed his find, Lucy, to be the real missing link between apes and humans, which also has been debunked as being anything more than an extinct variety of ape. So the very legitimate question Scientific Creationists pose is, when is the evidence Darwin admitted would be absolutely necessary to support his theory, going to be forthcoming?

Scientific Creationists have a competing model to explain the observed phenomenon, i.e. the fossil record. According to their theory there won’t be any “missing links” or “transitional forms” because they are merely figments of the imagination of the Evolutionists. According to [Scriptures] there are created kinds which are essentially the same as they were originally in the beginning, and there has never been any transitional forms naturally evolving from one kind to another – they are all essentially the same as originally created by God.

We need to completely change our Neanderthal thinking. We are on a downward path as a species. This goes contrary to the theory of evolution, but it fits nicely within the framework of biblical knowledge about our ancestry and our current path as a society.

Keep this in mind as you ponder this lesson: 

The Nephilim existed prior to The Flood.

Genesis 6 -- When men began to increase on the earth and daughters were born to them, the Divine Beings saw how beautiful they were and took wives from among those that pleased them.  It was then, and later too, that the Nephilim appeared on the earth (as a result of sexual relations between the Divine Beings and human women).  They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

From then on man's wickedness pervaded the earth and every plan devised by his mind was nothing but evil. Yahweh was so saddened - He regretted that He made them. Then came the Flood.  

I understand the Nephilim being renown: the condition of being known or talked about by many people - but I never quite got how these genetic mutants could be referred to as 'heroes': someone who is admired for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities - were they cute little half-breed babies who grew up to hero status but when they didn't stop growing (upwards to 300 cubits = 450 feet!)  is that when folks became intimidated by them?

The Flood swelled upon the earth and the mountains were covered, then the waters swelled another 15 cubits (another 22 and half feet above the tallest mountain). Makes sense that this much water would be needed to drown giants along with the rest of the unsaved souls.

 

Taking this information into consideration, can you see how various 'human remains' in the so-called fossil record could be the remains of the Nephilim and their experiments?  This wasn't millions of years ago and the event which buried it all was The Flood.  Add to this the fact that pre-flood humans lifespan was hundreds of years - physical, skeletal changes would likely occur and give rise to modern day man's imagination while ignoring God's account of Creation.  Humans were and always have been according to Yah's Creation from the beginning.

God Does Not have a Sense of Humor

Nowhere in Scriptures do we read of Yahweh making fun of someone to get a laugh, cracking a joke, pulling a prank, using sarcasm, slapping his knee in laughter or any other jovial actions.  A sense of humor is defined as a "personality that gives someone the ability to say funny things and see the funny side of things".  Read Scriptures and we learn there are no 'funny side of things'.

 

In Numbers 14 we read that Yahweh is slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion, forgiving iniquity and transgression but by no means will He leave the guilty unpunished.  Exodus 24 tells us He is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

 

Yahweh takes His Creation seriously, and so should we.  Abiding in His Love brings joy into our own lives, peace into our hearts and laughter and joy to our soul, when not only do we see His Creation but also understand it.  Our prayers become a pleasing aroma to our Creator.

 

Folks who like to say God has a sense of humor seem only to be justifying their own behaviors, whether right or wrong.  It is the same as saying "that's not what it means to me" or "God knows what's in my heart".  These are just verbal bandages.

Seeing the humor in a situation helps us mere humans get through some trying times and I am certain our heavenly Father has shook His head from time to time at some of our predicaments but lets not belittle Him saying He has a sense of humor just to cover our own actions.

Yahshua said 

Beware, let no man deceive you. For many will come in my name and will say that 'I am the Anointed One' and many they will deceive. For you are bound to hear of revolutions and rumor of wars. Watch out and do not be disturbed for it is necessary that all these things happen - but it is not yet the end.  Nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places But all these things are only the beginning of sorrows.

Then 'they' (the powers that be) will deliver you to afflictions and they will kill you and you will be hated by all peoples because of my name (Yahshua). Then many will stumble and will hate one another and will betray one another. And many false prophets arise and deceive many. And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will grow cold. But whoever has patience until the end he will have life. And this Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all the nations and then the end will come.

Do not believe those who say they saw Yahshua (Jesus) 'here or there', for false teachers (preachers/messiahs/prophets/regular old folks you trust) will produce signs and wonders in order to help with the deception, if possible even the chosen. 

We are told beforehand so that we may recognize the times we are living in. Yahshua will be seen just as everyone sees the sun rise out of the east and it is seen even in the west, so shall the Son of God be seen.

Taking this to heart, how can we be certain of those folks who claim God talked to them, or they saw Jesus in a vision. Who was the last person Yah talked to? Where is Yahshua now? Remember, Yahshua gave his Apostles another Redeemer, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth. This is the same Spirit that works in us if we let him do his job. Yahshua is sitting on his throne next to Our Father until his enemies become his footstool.  It is His Spirit that makes us as One, just as the Father and Son are One.

I am aware of many people who claim to have 'seen the face of Jesus' and/or heard God talking to them. I am suspicious of these claims in light of what we read in Scriptures.  Besides that, none of us know what Yahshua looks like, we've never seen him, there are no photographs of him, only artwork by artists using their own imaginations.  We do not know what 'Jesus' looked like while living as a man on earth since the Bible does not tell us, however, a most meaningful description that gives us an indication of his appearance is from this prophecy in Isaiah 53.

Isaiah 53

Who can believe what we have heard? Upon whom has 'the arm of the Father' been revealed?  For he has grown, by His favor, like a tree crown; like a tree trunk out of arid ground. 

He had no stately form or beauty that we should look at him; no charm that we should find him pleasing. He was despised, shunned by men, a man of suffering, familiar with disease. As one who hides his face from us (like a leper does) he was despised; we held no account of him.  Yet it was our sickness that he was bearing, our suffering that he endured. We believed him plagued, smitten and afflicted by God; but he was wounded because of our sins, crushed because of our iniquities, our evil ways.  He bore the chastisement that made us whole, and by his bruises we were healed. We all went astray like sheep, each going his own way and Yahweh visited upon him the guilt of all of us.

He was maltreated, yet he was submissive, he did not open his mouth; like a sheep being led to slaughter, like a ewe, dumb before those who shear her, he remained silent.

By oppressive judgment he was taken away. Who could describe his abode? He was cut off from the land of the living through the sin of my people who deserved the punishment.  And his grave was set among the wicked and the rich, though he had done no injustice and had spoken no falsehood.

But Yahweh chose to crush him by suffering, that if he made himself an offering for guilt he might see offspring and have long life and that through him Yah's purpose might prosper.  But out of his anguish he shall see his vindication; he shall enjoy it to the full through his devotion.

My righteous servant makes the many righteous, it is their punishment that he bears; assuredly, I will give him the many as his portion, he shall receive the multitude as his spoil. For he exposed himself to death and was numbered among the sinners; whereas he bore the guilt of many and made intercessions for sinners.

Yahshua's time on this earth ended after he was taken up to heaven and was replace by Yah's Set Apart Spirit. Yahshua said he would another redeemer, the Spirit of Truth.  In the meantime, until his return, we choose to accept him as our High Priest who offered a one time sacrifice for sins, who sits forever at the right hand of God where he waits until his foes are placed as a footstool under his feet.  

 

"I heard His voice"

The Bible records Yahweh speaking audibly to people many times (Exodus 3:14; Joshua 1:1; Judges 6:18; 1 Samuel 3:11; 2 Samuel 2:1; Job 40:1; Isaiah 7:3; Jeremiah 1:7; Acts 8:26; 9:15—this is just a small sampling). There is no biblical reason why He could not speak to a person audibly today. With all the times Scripture records Yahweh speaking, remember that they occur over the course of some 6,000 years and Yahweh speaking audibly is the exception, not the rule. Even in the biblically recorded instances of His speaking, it is not always clear whether it was an audible voice, an inner voice, or a mental impression.  

 "While God could speak audibly to people today, He speaks primarily through His written Word. By comparing what we 'hear' to the truth of Scripture, we can learn to recognize the essence of "His voice". First, God speaks to us through His Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Isaiah 55:11 tells us, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Scripture is God’s Word, and it contains everything we need to know in order to be saved and live a Set Apart life. Second Peter 1:3 declares, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

God more often than not “speaks” via His Set Apart spirit.  His Spirit guides us and becomes more obvious as we continue to spend time in Scriptures. His Spirit helps us to discern right from wrong so we make the right decisions (1 Timothy 1:5; 1 Peter 3:16). We come out of the world system being transformed by the renovation of our thought process as we discern what is good and acceptable to Yahweh (Romans 12:2). Yah allows events to occur in our lives to direct us, change us, and help us to grow spiritually (James 1:2–5; Hebrews 12:5–11). First Peter 1:6–7 reminds us: 

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith, of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Yahshua is revealed.”

 It is possible that Yah may sometimes speak audibly to people. It is highly doubtful, though, that this occurs as often as some people claim.  Even in Scriptures, Yahweh speaking audibly is the exception, not the rule. If anyone claims that God has spoken to them, always compare what is said with what the Bible says. If Yah were to speak today, His words would be in full agreement with what He has said in the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16–17). He does not contradict Himself.

 

Ash Wed•Lent•Palm Sun

There is one day our God set aside specifically for self-denial/discipline and it is the Day of Atonement when we set aside our usual activities and remember His Son shed his blood as atonement for our sinful ways. 

 

If we agree to live by God's Set of Instructions 

we will naturally become disciplined.⁠

 

Lent is an added 40 day tradition starting with Ash Wed., and it's origins can be traced back to the days of Tammuz. I have read that these 40 days represent the time our Messiah spent in the wilderness, but this is not a 'holiday' Our Father set apart for us.

•Chapter 1 relates to the 40th day after the resurrection of Yahshua son of God and the remaining nine days until Shavuot

•Chapter 2 relates to the 50th day (Shavuot/Pentecost) after the resurrection of Yahshua and the events of that day.

Religion copied the 40 day routine from the time women wept for Tammuz and renamed it the time Jesus spent in the wilderness.  They celebrate the time leading up to the death and resurrection of Jesus ending with the pagan celebration of Easter.  

Yah's set time is the 40 days after the resurrection of His Son when he was taken up to sit on his throne next to his Father; and the 10 days until His Spirit was given to the 12 Apostles.

Damascus Syria

I have lightly paraphrased this prophecy so please read from your own copy of Scriptures to verify the point being made and be a witness to the truth.

Isaiah 17: The Damascus Pronouncement

Damascus shall cease to be a city; it shall become a heap of ruins.  The towns of Aroer shall be deserted and become a place for flocks to lie down without being disturbed. 

Fortresses shall cease from Ephraim (Aram) and the sovereignty of Damascus; the remnant shall become like the mass of Israelites, says our Creator Yahweh.

In that day the mass of Jacob shall dwindle, the fatness become lean after being like standing grain harvested by the reaper (who reaps ears by the armful); he shall be like the ears that are gleaned in the Valley of Rephaim.  Only gleanings shall be left of him, as when one beats an olive tree, two berries or three on the topmost branch, four or five on the boughs of the many branched one, declares Yahweh God of the Hebrews house of Israel.

In that day men shall turn to their Maker, looking to the Set Apart One of Israel, turning their backs on their homemade altars, sacred posts and incense stands.  Their fortress cities shall be like the deserted sites which the Horesh and the Amir (Amorites and Hivites) abandoned because of the Israelites and there shall be desolation.

Truly you have forgotten The One who save you and have not remembered the Rock who shelters you.  That is why, though you plant a delightful sapling, what you sow proves a disappointing slip.  On the day that you plant you will see it grow; the morning you sow you see it bud, but the branches wither away on a day of sickness and mortal agony.

The roar of many people sounds as a roaring sea, the rage of nations that rage like massive waters!  He shouts at them and they flee far away, driven like chaff by the winds in the hills.  At evening shall be terror and by morning it is no more.  Such is the lot of our despoilers, the portion of them that plunder us.
