Psalm 3 was written after David fled from his son Absalom:
O YHWH, my foes are so many! Many are those who attack me; many say of me, "There is no deliverance for him through Elohim." But You, O YHWH, are a shield around me, my glory, He who holds my head high.
David said this after Yah had saved him from the hands of all his enemies and the hands of Saul:
II Samuel 22 ~ O Elohim, my crag, my fastness, my deliverer! The rock wherein I take shelter; my shield, my mighty champion, my fortress and refuge! My savior, You who rescue me from violence!
Proverbs 30:5 tells us Every word of Elohim is pure, a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He indict you and you be proved a liar.
And in Deuteronomy 33:29 we read "O happy Israel! Who is like you, a people delivered by YHWH, your protecting shield, your sword triumphant!"
Our Creator is the Shield of David
and the shield of anyone who takes refuge in Him,
"Today, the Six Pointed Star or Hexagram is the most popular and universally recognized symbol of Jewry. It is known as Star of David, Magen David, or the Jewish Star. Ironically, David had nothing to do with the hexagram and it did not represent the Jewish people until the 17th century."
The star of the false god Rephan:
Acts 7:43 ~ But you have taken the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of the deity of Rephan that you made images to be worshipped.
Amos 5:26 ~ And you shall carry off your "king" - Sikkuth and Kiyyun - the images you have made for yourself of your astral deity...
Sikkuth and Kiyyun are two Akkadian names applied to Saturn (worshiped as an astral deity). The six pointed star symbol (hexagram) is called the 'talisman of Saturn' which became known as the Seal of Solomon. 'Akkadian' was a semitic language spoken in Mesopotamia (modern Iraq and Syria) between about 2,800 BC and 500 AD.
Speaking of Saturn, many say the 'black cube' in Mecca relates to it. This place of worship includes a stone held in place by a silver frame set in the corner of the Kaaba that Muslims kiss if near enough to it. It is said this stone "fell from heaven". Muslims believe this stone was found by Abraham and used in the construction of the Kaaba. It is also said it was given to Ishmael and that it turned black because it absorbed the sins of those who touched it. This stone is still part of Islamic idol worship today.
Acts 19:35 ~
....Men of Ephesus, what person is there among you who does not know the city of the Ephesians is devoted to the worship of the great Diana, and of her image (stone?) that descended (fell) from heaven?
Here’s a brief summary of the mythology of Saturn:
“With the deposing of his father, Saturn became the ruler of the Universe for untold ages and he reigned with his sister, Ops, who also became his wife. It was prophesied that one day Saturn would lose power when one of his children would depose him. To prevent this from happening, each time Ops delivered a child Saturn would immediately swallow it. When her sixth child, Jupiter (Zeus), was born, Ops had him spirited away to the island of Crete. She then wrapped a stone in his swaddling clothes. Her deception was complete when Saturn swallowed it, thinking it was the child. When Jupiter was grown, he secured the job of cup-bearer to his father. With the help of Gaia, his grandmother, Jupiter fed his father a potion that caused him to vomit up Jupiter’s five siblings, Vesta (Hestia), Ceres (Demeter), Juno (Hera), Pluto (Hades), and Neptune (Poseidon).”
Molek was the detestable false god of the Ammonites. People offered their children as a sacrifice by fire to Molek which sound an awful lot like Saturn's behavior who ate his offspring. Playing connect-the-dots in pagan behavior never ends! Satan's deceptions adapt to each generation as time goes by, the same story with different actors.
Leviticus 20 ~ Anyone among the Israelites or among the strangers residing in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech, shall be put to death; the people shall pelt him with stones. (this is in the same paragraph stating: and if any person turns to ghosts and familiar spirits and goes astray after them I will set My Face against that person and cut him off from among his people.)
Jeremiah 32:34 ~ They placed their abominations in the House which bears My name and defiled it; and they built the shrines of Baal which are in the Valley of Ben-hinnom, where they offered up their sons and daughters to Molech - when I had never commanded, or even thought of commanding, that they should do such an abominable thing, bringing guilt upon Judah.
Zephaniah 1 ~ Yah says: I will stretch out My arm against Judah and against all who dwell in Jerusalem; and I will wipe out from this place every vestige of Baal, and the name of (priests of heathen gods) along with the names of other priests; and those who bow down on the roofs to the host of heaven; and those who bow down and swear to Me the Elohim of hosts but also swear by Malcam (Milcom/Molech); and those who have forsaken Me and not sought nor turned to Me.
It appears that Baal is behind a lot of these abominable ways.
Baal (ba'al) was an ancient Canaanite and Mesopotamian deity associated with agriculture. He was believed to be the "giver of life" and mankind was dependent upon him for providing what was necessary to sustain the farms, flocks and herds. He was also called the "son of Dagon" (who was in control of the grain), and "Hadad" the storm god who would provide plentiful rains after hearing his voice (thunder). The land of Canaan was devoted to the worship of Baal. The Semitic word Baal means "lord" or "master" and the Canaanites believed that Baal was in absolute control over nature and over people. It was he who was in charge of the rain and the weather, and man's survival was dependent upon Baal's provision.
Yah tells Moses when he goes through the territory of Moab he will be close to the Ammonites and not to harass them or start a fight with them. Yah assigned this land to the descendants of Lot. The land was counted as part of Rephaim (plural for Rephan) country whom the Ammonites called Zamzummim, a people great and numerous and as tall as the Anakites (descendants of the Nephilim).

is not the star of David
nor the shield of David
but is the star/planet symbol (Saturn)
of the false god called Rephan.

Solomon's Seal
Satan's goal is to be worshiped as 'god' - he is the ultimate counterfeit to the one true Elohim, YHWH. Satan was even bold enough to tempt Y'shua to bow down and worship him. How much more will he lead people in the end times to do the same? Most people aren’t going to openly worship Satan, but, because he uses other ‘gods’ and ‘idols’ to accept worship indirectly, many will be deceived.
David's shield, and ours, is The Creator.
Remphan's star is an astral deity, a pagan god.
Solomon's Seal is the talisman of Saturn, a pagan god.
The hexagram combined with the fish symbol is just another abomination to our Creator. Before Christianity adopted the fish symbol, it was known by pagans as "the Great Mother", and "womb". Its link to fertility, birth, and the natural force of women was acknowledged also by the Celts, as well as pagan cultures throughout northern Europe.
All it takes is a little time to research the origins of such things and to allow His Spirit to reveal the truth of the matter. The key is not to be deceived. Yah's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge - they are those who did not love the truth.
