In That Day

Blessed are You, Yahweh Elohim, King of the universe, who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to engross ourselves in the words of the Torah.

I admit that I do fall short of engrossing myself in the words of the Torah but ask to be forgiven my weakness. I love Yahweh Elohim, King of the universe and strive to remember the sabbath and keep it Set Apart because He is Set Apart.

By reading Scriptures and including His Instructions for us in our daily affairs, we build a solid foundation on which to stand when we face adversity. For there are those who will hate us because we love Yahshua, son of Yahweh.
"The great day of Elohim is approaching, approaching most swiftly. Hark, the day of Yahweh Elohim! It is bitter"  (Zephaniah)
That day will be bitter for those who do not call upon the Name above all names. It will be a day of sadness and joy for those of us who are still alive and bear witness to His Return. It is easy for me to visualize the anger of our Elohim- just look at the behavior of humans everywhere -lack of morality, love of self, materialism, just to name a few.

It is not easy to visualize His day of trouble and distress, calamity and desolation, darkness and deep gloom (Zephaniah) for those people who refuse to repent and return to Him. The fairness of Yahweh Elohim, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is evident even in these end times. He wants even the sinners of that day to Seek Him and to seek righteousness and humility. Even then they may find shelter on the day of His anger.

Our Elohim will cause all the false gods on earth to shrivel. In that day we shall no longer be ashamed for all the deeds by which we have defied Him because the follies of our youth He will not remember.

How I thank and give praise to Yahweh for His loving-kindness! For His patience to wait for me to turn to Him for salvation! I rejoice in His long suffering that we should All turn from our sins and embrace Him. Rejoice and be glad with all your heart all who have found peace in Y'shua as King of Kings. He is the Truth, the Light and the Way.

Excerpt from a book by Lyle Rossiter, Jr. MD

The Liberal Mind
The Psychological Causes of Political Madness

By Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D.
For more than 40 years, Rossiter has diagnosed and treated over 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases, both state and federal, as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist retained by numerous public offices, courts and private attorneys. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.

Rossiter explains with great clarity why the kind of liberalism being displayed by Barack Obama can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Rossiter. "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity - as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population - as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which overregulates and overtaxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state - as liberals do."

Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
  • creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
  • satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
  • augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
  • rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.
"The roots of liberalism - and its associated madness - can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

Walid Shoebat's view on our Sister Holiday

 (begin quote)

As a “right wing Jewish extremist” as many of my fellow Jews might describe me, so as to isolate me from the “lamestream” I have a question as to why Jewish Liberals find the celebration of Chanukah as the most important of all Jewish festivals to actively and proudly celebrate in America.  Passover, Tabernacles and Pentecost are more important but most reform synagogues are closed, go figure!

Chanukah is not a Biblical festival, not commanded to be celebrated by G-d but what it is a celebration on par with the July 4th celebration commemorating freedom from persecution and independence of Israel. The Macabbees who lead the revolt against the Hellenist Greeks were right wing extremist zealots like me, who believed in a free undivided land of Israel, not a solution that might bring “peace.” Liberal Jews like the Hellenists support abortion “pro choice,” a pc word for murder, homosexuality, euthanasia and a shared land of Israel the size of Delaware instead of New Jersey, while the Maccabees would frown at such affronts to G-d’s natural laws and promises.

It is hard to believe that liberal Jews could embrace such a festival or concept called Chanukah based on the historic and miraculous reason it is celebrated.

I as a supporter of the Maccabee cause wish to free Israel, all Israel, of the affront of Islamic domination. Today I am called an extremist and hatemonger.  If I lived 2500 years ago I would be a hero and commemorated by liberals later (today) as such, yet today based on the same issues repeated in front of our eyes, to a liberal I would be a “hatemonger” promoting “hate speech.”

The real reason liberal Jews celebrate Chanukah is because it is close to the festival of Christmas and multicultural competition.  The date of Dec 25th is based on a pagan holiday. I do not say this to disparage Christians but based on historical fact that December the 25th was a pagan holiday during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine who used the pagan date to change it to a Christian holiday. All Biblical historians know that Jesus could not have been born at this time based on the season described in the Bible. No one knows the date but it was some time from the end of August till October. Easter itself is named after a pagan deity Estor because it happened to fall at the same time as the crucifixion of Jesus and Constantine used this to turn pagans to Christianity but removed the Jewish essence that is inherent to the faith but now pretty much separated or forgotten.

Secularism, traditions of man turning them to religion, and multi-culturism have infected and diluted the truth concerning how G-d wished us to conduct ourselves based on the text of the Bible. Orthodox Jews, Reform Jews and Christians have all twisted the word of G-d with false traditions and made them gospel truth.    The Bible is the word of G-d not the Talmud or Mishna, the traditions of Constantine and the destruction by Christians of the Hebrew roots of their faith is also an affront. Both Jews and Christians need to take a good look at them-selves in the mirror before they critique each other.

As for our Muslim cousins, they just remained pagan and deceived themselves that G-d is Allah when he is plain and simply Satan. Here come the Fatwas!

The prophets of Israel give us a clear literal picture of the end of days and they explain the exact things that are playing out in front of our eyes.    Yet Jewish, Christian scholars and leaders from both introduce allegory and wishful notions of fantasy to explain everything but the truth. The false prophets, weak leaders and evil ones also are clearly pointed out in the prophecies.  To the truth seekers - read and study the prophets of Israel, for the Day of the Lord is not far off.

Sisterhood of Girl Friends

Another e-mail full of feeling from that very same friend, Sara.  I'd like to share this with all, especially my sisters and girl friends... there's not much difference between a sister and a friend!

Time passes
Life happens
Distance separates
Children grow up
Jobs come and go.  Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're suppose to do.
Hearts break. Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.  Careers end.

BUT

Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you.  A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you, or come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters;
Daughter-in-laws, sisters, sister-in-laws;
mothers, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, cousins,
and extended family
all bless our life!

When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead.  Nor did we know how much we would need  each other.  Every day, we need each other still.

Nice Thoughts about Becoming Old...

This was passed along, years ago, from my friend Sara. I found it a refreshing outlook on becoming old and gray and all those other adjectives that go along with getting on in years.
~~~<><><><><>~~~
I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of  myself. I've become my own friend. I don't chide myself for eating that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I didn't need, but  looks so avante garde on my patio. I am entitled to a treat, to be  messy, to be extravagant.
I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before  they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.
Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 AM and sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 60's and 70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love ... I will.
I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves with  abandon if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set.  They, too, will get old.
I know I am sometimes forgetful.  But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And I  eventually remember the important things.
Sure, over the years my heart has been broken. How can your heart not  break when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But broken hearts are what give us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will  never know the joy of being imperfect.
I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face.  So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver.
As you get older, it is easier to be positive.  You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.
I like being old. It has set me free. I  like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could  have been, or worrying about what will be.  And I shall eat dessert every single day (if I feel like it).
May our friendship never come apart especially when it's straight from the heart!
Pagan Practices and Halloween
Year after year I cringe when it comes to the popular man made holidays which good people celebrate without question, including Halloween.
The folks at Cutting Edge have covered this topic pretty well:
God lists Satanic practices that He absolutely forbids- Every one of them is uniquely associated with Halloween!
1. Enchantment -- Act of influencing by charms and incantation using the practice of magical arts. Such practices draw directly upon the power of Satan. God forbids it in many places, chief among which is Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
2. Witchcraft -- Dealing with demonic spirits, using their prescribed methods, commonly called rituals and the "magick arts". The Bible forbids it, as in Galatians 5:19-20. Go to a video store sometime and walk down the "Horror" aisle, where you will see the popularity of Witchcraft in America today.
3. Sorcery -- Use of power gained from the prescribed rituals demanded by the demonic host. Once the witch or wizard performs the particular ritual correctly, the demonic host is required to provide the power to accomplish that action desired by the witch.
4. Divination -- Fortune telling and seeing into the future. God wants us to trust in Him and His power, and not worry about tomorrow. Satan, on the other hand, loves to get people consumed by the idea that they can know what lies ahead of them. Forbidden in the Bible, Jeremiah 29:8-9 and Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
5. Wizardry -- The art or practices of a wizard, sorcery. A wizard or witch is one skilled in the magick arts, a sorcerer. God forbids such practices in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Leviticus 19:31.
6. Necromancy -- Communication with the dead. Specifically, conjuring up the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events. Forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Isaiah 8:19.
7. Charm -- The practice of putting a spell on someone in order to change or control their mind and/or behavior. Wizards love to get their enemies "one-on-one" because they can "charm" them through the use of ritual done before the meeting, and by the demonic host residing within him. Adolf Hitler followed this practice closely as he dealt with the leaders of Europe, Britain, and Russia. British Prime Minister Chamberlain was totally charmed by Hitler as he sought to appease the German dictator in Munich in 1938; Chamberlain was so totally "charmed" by Hitler, he enthusiastically proclaimed after returning from Munich that he had achieved "peace in our time".
When dealing with a powerful member of the Illuminati, do not attempt to meet with him, nor place any confidence in the testimony of people who have met with him. A "charm" ritual is easily performed and results in the leader exuding confidence, character, and sincerity they most assuredly do not possess. God forbids this activity in Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
8. Stargazing or Astrology -- Divination of the supposed influence of the stars and other heavenly bodies upon human lives and the affairs of nations. Occultists literally order their lives according to Astrology and numerics. God forbids this activity in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Jeremiah 10:2. Also called "Observing the Times".
9. Soothsaying -- foretelling events and prophesying through a spirit other than the Holy Spirit. Forbidden in Micah 5:12 and implied strongly in Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
10. Prognostication -- To foretell from signs and symptoms, also prophesying without the Holy Spirit. Forbidden in Isaiah 47:12-13.
11. Magic -- Tapping into the power of the demonic realm through the use of prescribed ritual so that the action carried out is accomplished through demonic power. Forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, 2 Chronicles 33:6, 1 Samuel 15:23.
All these activities are uniquely associated with the activities and traditions of Halloween! Christians have no business participating in Halloween. To do so is to act against a great number of Scriptures in which God uses the strongest possible language to forbid it. In fact, in most instances, God decreed that people practicing these activities be put to death!
Yet, we see many churches having Halloween parties in which many of these pagan practices are followed! The Apostle Paul gave us strong warning that should stop us dead in our tracks. Listen:
"Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments for these sins, for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience." Ephesians 5:6]
YHWH will Tell Us What to Do
Quote:
Noah is an example of a man who was told of impending danger and did what he was told. He was not concerned about how he might look to his neighbors. He did not put together a committee to discuss the issues. He did not even send the ark plans down to the closest engineer to see if the boat would be sea worthy or if changes should be made in its design. Noah simply acted on what he was told to do. He proved out his faith by putting it into action.
In the Book of Matthew, Y'shua tells us that there will be another day similar to those Mr. And Mrs. Noah faced. They would be days evil men and women following after every manner of sinful way they could devise. It would be a time in which man’s heart would grow so black and hard toward his Creator that judgment and annihilation would be the only way out. It would be a time to once again start over. The time spoken of would not be with another flood though, but rather with a time of great tribulation. This time it would not be a sudden event, but rather one in which man could have time to think about his actions.
Noah reminds me that day by day I need to be consistent, and to put into action that which I believe. One man can make a difference to those around him if he never loses sight of what he has been called to do. His life is a reason to put our feet on the floor every morning with purpose and to know that we are given another day, not for ourselves, but to move one step closer to fulfilling His purposes for our lives.
Noah did not see the concept of faith and preparation being two separate issues. Instead he seems to agree that faith without works is a rather useless thing. Noah did not hear the voice of Yahweh and decide to simply pray about it, but instead when he heard that voice he went to his workshop and began cutting the first board.
We can all be very thankful that Noah was not of the mindset that to prepare was a lack of faith. The earth would have been flooded, just as Yah had promised, but instead of Noah and his family living to tell about it, no matter how righteous they were, their lack of putting faith into action would have made them no more than another meal for some very full fish.
