Messages

This is the revelation which belongs to Y'shua the Anointed One, so that he could tell his servants what was to happen. His servant John, who bore witness to the Word of Yahweh and to the testimony of Y'shua, is the one who wrote it down. Blessed are the readers and the hearers of the words of this prophecy, provided they obey the things written in it! For the time is near!

I have paraphrased the messages given to the seven assemblies in the province of Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea in order to show how these messages can be applied to each of us personally in this day and age. I suggest reading Revelation for yourself first which will help viewing this comparison.

1. We have lost the love we had at first, when we first became born again. We cried and wept for joy when Y'shua forgave us. We wanted to tell everyone about the change and how wonderful it is. I know I haven't told anyone lately about my Salvation or shared the Testimony of The Son. He wants that First Love to shine again and forever.

2. Y'shua knows we suffer and are poor and he knows the difference between people like us and those who claim to be believers, but aren't.  He tells us not to be afraid of what we are about to suffer (The end times Tribulation). The Adversary will throw some of us in prison, in order to put us to the test (to steal our faith and trust in our Creator) and we will face an ordeal for ten days (tortured then killed). We must remain faithful even to the point of death, and he will give us life as our crown. We who win the victory will not be hurt at all by the second death (the resurrection of those whose names are not in the Book of Life).

3. To those who are running with the devil, yet hanging onto the name of Yahshua, setting traps for people, leading them astray, using sex, drugs and music to lure them in - all must turn from these sins. (This can apply to people who go to church on Sunday, hanging onto His Name, and then do what they please all other days - drinking, smoking, cussing, whoring around etc...). If you do not turn from sin and turn toward YHWH, He will make war with you and you may not win. But those who do win this victory will receive some of the hidden manna. 

4. He knows our love, trust, service and perseverance, and knows we're doing more now than before BUT some of us continue to tolerate that Jezebel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet but is teaching and deceiving His servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols. (who or what can this whore represent?) He gave her time to to turn from her sin, but she doesn't want to repent of her immorality or the deep things she learned from Satan, the Adversary. MarYah will throw her into a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her will be thrown into great trouble unless they turn from the sins connected with what she does. (this could be witchcraft related, or a certain church denomination,  I'm not real sure on a modern day interpretation here, yet.)

5.  He also issues a warning: Wake Up and strengthens what remains, before it dies too. (I liken this to Sleep Walking Christians... they go through the motions and appear on the outside as believers, but on the inside they are dead). Remember what you received and heard and obey it and turn from your sin, for if you don't wake up, Y'shua will come like a thief, many won't know when to expect him. (I read this to mean- read all of Scriptures... learn the signs of his return so that we will be prepared to properly meet him!)

6.  Some of us have known and trusted and had faith in Y'shua for a long long time, as he put an open door in front of us. We have continued to obey Him, we have not disowned him and we persevered. He will keep us from the time of trial coming upon the whole earth to put the people living on earth to the test. We must hold tight to our faith and trust and let no one take it from us.

7.  Some of us are neither Hot nor Cold in our faith and this disturbs him because we have become lukewarm. These are the ones who claim to be rich, satisfied, full and don't need a thing. He sees them as being wretched, pitiable, poor...  Y'shua will rebuke and discipline everyone he loves, so even those who are fat and happy must exert themselves and turn from their sins, too.

Look! He is coming in the clouds!

Every eye will see him, 
including those who pierced him;

and all the tribes of the Land will mourn him.

Elohim of heaven's armies, 

the One who is, who was and who is coming.
